Officiating Sikyong Dolma Gyari Meets with Delegation from Tibet Support Group

Dharamshala, 8  November 2025: The Officiating Sikyong and Kalon of the Department of Security, Dolma Gyari, met with a delegation from the Tibet Support Group at Dharamshala. The delegation was led by Shri Inderpal Singh Kohli, Head of Public Relations, Seema Jagran Manch, Uttarakhand Chapter; Member of the Youth Foundation; and State President, Bharat Tibet Sangh.

The delegation comprised several distinguished members and dignitaries, including:

  • Rawal Harish Semwal Ji – Head Priest of Shri Gangotri Dham and Senior Functionary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)
  • Sh. Bhagwati Ji – Pibhag Pracharak, Dharamshala, RSS
  • Sh. D.P.S. Rawat – Commandant (Retd.), ITBP; recipient of the President’s Award for Meritorious Service and several other gallantry and service awards; veteran of the Indo-Tibet border
  • Sh. Mahesh Panday – Member, Seema Jagran Manch and Senior BJP Leader
  • Sh. Navin Pirshali Ji – Member, Seema Jagran Manch; Spokesperson, BJP Uttarakhand State; and Prominent Media Personality
  • Sh. Balbir Singh Ji – Member, Seema Jagran Manch and Senior BJP Leader

  • Advocate Kanchan Singh Rangarh – Member, Seema Jagran Manch; Eminent Photographer, Traveller; and from the prominent Rangarh Maldar family of Tehri-Garhwal
  • Sh. Rajinder Singh Gunjiyal – Former CBI Officer and currently SP (Advisor/Consultant), Crime Branch, Haryana Police
  • Col. Arpit Parekh – Garhwal Rifles
  • Sh. Abhishek Singh and Sh. Shubham Panwar – Members, Seema Jagran Manch and volunteers working in the Vibrant Villages Programme, Indo-Tibet Border, District Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand
  • Mr. & Mrs. Atishay Jain – Members, Seema Jagran Manch and from a prominent family of Tehri-Garhwal, Uttarakhand

During the meeting, the delegation expressed their continued solidarity with the Tibetan cause and discussed issues concerning border communities, security cooperation, and cultural exchange between the Indian Himalayan region and Tibetans in exile.

The Officiating Sikyong acknowledged and appreciated the steadfast support extended by Indian friends and organisations such as Seema Jagran Manch and Bharat Tibet Sangh, reaffirming the deep spiritual and cultural ties between the people of India and Tibet.
