Community Celebration at Puruwala: Honouring USA’s Support for Resolve Tibet Act 2024

Puruwala : On 15 July 2024, the gathering was held at Sakya Tibetan Settlement, Puruwala, to express deep gratitude to the USA and President Joe Biden for their support in passing the Resolve Tibet Act 2024. The event was a joyous occasion, bringing the community together in a spirit of celebration and deep appreciation.

Settlement Officer Tenzin Namgyal addressed the public during the event, elucidating the significance of the Resolve Act and expressing gratitude to the United States of America for its support.

Following this, Gendun Rinchen, former Secretary of Mussoorie Homes, took the stage to speak about responsibility and its importance. After the formal program, attendees enjoyed games and Tibetan circle dance (Gorshey). RTYC, RTWA and Sakya Tibetan Society also prepared a delicious lunch.
